Over 7,000 Captains Recommended Services

Jean Jarreau

For our guides, we continually research and get feedback from many of the industry's top professional yacht Captains and crew, in order to create an 'Inside Guide' of their own personal recommended services for any cruising destination or yachting base around the world.

We only list the services for whom we have received consistently good positive feedback. This wealth of information will help ‘fast track’ yachtsmen to the most effective, efficient and reliable services and contacts available.

The 56th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show exceeded all expectations this year..it was the largest ever; packed docks with 100,000 visitors over the 5 days, 1500 boats on display, of which 150 were over 30m in length, the Lurssen 75m motor yacht Northern Star being the largest there! 1000 exhibitors from over 30 countries displayed an incredible array of boats, marine products & accessories for every budget, valued at more than US $4 billion. Shipyards, marinas & most services were more than busy in the weeks leading up to the show, the impact of which on the local economy is compared to that of a 'Super Bowl' every year - over US $500 million, according to the president of the show management.

We continue to receive great feedback from Captains & crew for the yachting services & outstanding marine infrastructure in the US - whether yachts are cruising or spending time in marinas & shipyards. This year will see our 2016 Superyacht Services Guide to North America with newly researched locations for the West Coast, as well as comprehensive updates to the East Coast chapters - making visits to these areas that much easier, with Captains trusted recommendations for services they have used - available Spring 2016.
Yachts are beginning to arrive in the Caribbean ready for the Winter season ahead; you can meet our team of authors at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show 4-10th December & receive complimentary 2016 Guides to the Caribbean hot off the press!
