Considering the nature and geography of the Balearic Islands, the sea has always been the engine of the economy of these islands and the gateway to the Mediterranean for the superyacht fleet. As a result, a very competitive professional yachting industry developed  with many specialized marine companies offering their products and services to yachts, both locally in the Balearics, mainland Spain and further afield globally. 

Some of these yachting companies came together to create the Balearic Marine Cluster, a business initiative created to position the Balearic Islands as a hub for the marine industry. With more than 80+ member companies, they can strengthen their international reputation as a yachting destination, for refit & repair, and specialised training. 

From shipyards and refit & repair companies to exclusive marinas, yacht managers, brokers, charter agencies, concierge and recruitment services, Balearic Marine Cluster bring together the main companies of the Balearic Islands´ yachting sector in order to offer high quality and full service to yacht owners and captains.
