Wine Heaven - Yarra Valley & Mornington Peninsula

Among the Yarra Valley's rolling green hills woven with vines you can explore some of Australia's best-known wineries – and perhaps discover some new favourites. And what better way to enjoy the region's wines than by pairing them with a long lunch or dinner that showcases local produce.

Located 30-50 km east of Melbourne it is easily accessible by car, bus or helicopter. Many wine estates have cellar door options with some of them offering lunch or even fine dining experiences.

The Dandenong Ranges are located south and are a haven of hidden delights with scenic, winding roads to charming villages; an abundance of artist studios, craft stores, boutique accommodation, breath taking lookouts, renowned gardens and walking trails through ash forests and refreshing mountain air.

Mornington Peninsula on the east side of Port Phillip Bay is also densely populated with great wineries. It is also the home to prestigious Polo events in Sorrento: PortSea. Yachts can anchor straight off the Polo premises.
