Pittwater Anchorages

“I’d recommend that you incorporate a few days on anchor in Pittwater and the Hawkesbury River. The Hawkesbury River is just north of Sydney Harbour and offers deep water and sheltered anchoring locations in most bays. The Hawkesbury is surrounded by National Parks offering privacy and a rich natural environment with plenty of opportunities to take a tender and go-ashore on a local beach. If you visit the Hawkesbury outside school holidays period (10 to 26 April 2020) you’ll notice few boats around.  The Hawkesbury is really, really breath taking”.
