Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary

This charming sanctuary for the endangered Hawksbill Turtle is a non-profit ‘labour of love’ run by Orton 'Brother' King for the last 31 years. 

‘Brother’ has released hundreds of young Hawksbill Turtles back into the wild. The sanctuary is a fantastic stop for the younger members of any charter party, and Brother King always has lots of time to explain the life cycles and habitats of the Hawksbill Turtles in the wild.
