Getting Around Genoa

Be warned - Driving in Genoa is difficult as the road system is challenging to say the least! The city is spread out and the port area is very industrial. It is however worth getting out and about to discover the ‘real Genoa’.

There is a comprehensive bus system for getting around but if you decide to do it alone, a GPS is a must. There are also several mainline train stations in Genoa, which is a hub for going inland or along the coast.
