Havana based, Mega Yacht Services Inc. is a reliable company, specializing in superyacht shore-side support, and promoting Cuba as an international yachting destination.

Yacht Services & Support 

The company has a dedicated local yachting agent for Cuban waters – namely, the very friendly and English-speaking, Placido Sanchez. Mega Yacht Services and Placido will work on a personal level with each yacht, offering a full spectrum of services including: Customs and Immigration formalities, cruising permits and all other associated boat paper works, air freight solutions for boat spares, fuel bunkering, water, medical assistance, hotel reservations, flight reservations, car rentals, chauffeured vehicle services, overnight tours to different cities in Cuba, day tours (and even arranged meetings with prominent Cuban artists, writers, painters, academics and personalities).

Mega Yacht Services can even provide event management services for on board banquets and other occasions. Placido is an essential component in the planning stages of any yacht’s Cuban itinerary and has a very good network of contacts to enable the smoothest possible cruise once the boat has arrived. He also works well with the crew, organizing shoreside itineraries and accommodations. 

Aircraft Charters / Ground Handling

By prior arrangement, private aircraft and jets are welcome to operate at all of Cuba’s international airports – including VIP guest handling and ground services.

Crew Accommodation - ‘Taganga Penthouse’ 

On the 15th floor of the Taganga Building, very popular with yacht crew, perfectly located on the waterfront adjacent to the Hotel Nacional in Vedado.

Dockage - Sierra Maestra Cruise Ship Terminal 

Deep draft dockage for superyachts greater than 60M LOA. Arrivals must always be pre-booked.
