Port Tarraco Marina

Port Tarraco in Tarragona (Spain),  is a world-class deep-water I.S.P.S. code compliant Superyacht marina, designed to provide superyachts with the highest quality services and offers secure berthing for 33 yachts from 43m – 160m LOA. With a natural 9m draught and full crew facilities, the marina meets all the specific needs as a base for the larger Superyachts.

The marina has everything Superyacht owners, captains and crew require; a vast range of berthing facilities including 24hr security and CCTV surveillance, 140 meter waiting dock, black and grey water discharge, shore power connections up to 1600Amp @400V and even 6,600 V/2,000 VA for Gigayachts, fresh water, Internet and Satellite TV and a bespoke Customer Service to ensure an easy and comfortable stay.

Additionally, onsite at the marina you will find: shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, a fitness club, private car parking, storage facilities and there is also a Ship chandler in the immediate vicinity. Port Tarraco is a hidden gem in the Mediterranean, right on the doorstep of the beautiful and historic city of Tarragona on Spain’s ‘Costa Daurada’.

It is centrally located for immediate access to all the major cruising destinations in the western Mediterranean, such as the south of France and the Balearic Islands, and is a key stop-off point for Superyachts on route between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

With the chance to explore the rich local Catalonian culture, the area’s many beaches, the mountains for hiking or skiing, and the nearby cities of Barcelona and Madrid, this area is an attractive year-round destination for Owners, Captains and crew.

Strategically located close to the International Airport of Reus with Barcelona International Airport about 45 minutes away, Port Tarraco is 15 minutes from the recently opened high-speed train (AVE) station, which connects Tarragona with Madrid in less than 2.5 hours and Barcelona in just 30 minutes.

Tarragona is at the crossroads of two of Spain's main motorways the Autopista del Mediterráneo which links Alicante to France and the rest of Europe; and the Autopista del Norte giving access to the Basque Country in the north west and to the capital Madrid via Zaragoza.

Port Tarraco continues to be highly recommended as a popular destination among Superyacht Captains and crews for its excellent facilities and great location.

We received great feedback from numerous Captains we spoke to, for Port Tarraco’s multi lingual staff, and their ability to provide all the services one might need.
