La Citadelle

Built in the 16th century, La Citadelle is an historical monument typifying 16th century military engineering. Situated at the higher elevations of the village, it offers a panoramic view that justifies the walk to get here. There is also a small marine museum within the building that displays the naval history of the village town and the history of the French admiral Bailli de Suffren.
