Tour of the Fortalesa de la Mola

"An interesting and worthwhile tour"... A round trip from Mahon of approximately 12 km takes one past many monuments of maritime history to the Fortalesa de la Mola, a military owned Spanish fortress. Guided tours are available through the many galleries, gun emplacements and barracks. Visitors are advised to wear suitable footwear and to carry a torch for visiting the underground galleries.
