Galata Museo del Mare

Galata 'Museum of the Sea' is a large maritime museum by the docks. It is a modern really excellent museum, well worth visiting if you have time. The long circuit around ascending floors of the museum covers Genoa's maritime history, illustrated with period paintings of the busy dock developments, recreations of ships, historical exhibits and interactive installations.
