Stranahan House

Still standing in its original location on the banks of the New River; originally selected by Frank Stranahan as it was the location of his ferry across the river which formed part of the new road from Lantana to the North and Miami to the South. Originally built as a trading post for settlers and the Seminole Indians, it quickly evolved into the post office, community center and town hall, supporting Frank‚Äôs role as banker postmaster and businessman.
