The Scuba Shop

Based out of Saint Maarten, serving the Caribbean, The Scuba Shop rates as one of the top dive retail and service centers for yachts and crews. From their convenient location at Palapa Marina, between Simpson Lagoon and Airport Road, whatever your underwater needs: be it Sales, Service or Rentals… they have you covered, with the world’s best brands, all with manufacturers world-wide WARRANTY.  As you can’t dive all the time, The Scuba Shop stocks a large variety of OBRIEN Wakeboards, Waterskis, Towables and accessories. And to record it all, GOPRO and SEALIFE cameras and accessories.

Peter Frye and daughter Kim are 'yachties' themselves and are dedicated to providing exactly what their clients require, whether for private, charter or cruising needs - all at great prices too – backed up by one Captain telling us how: “The Scuba Shop supplied our boat with seven full kits of dive gear for a really good deal.”

Aftersales SERVICE is important to The Scuba Shop. They have factory certified techs to service your dive equipment and compressor and carry a large stock of genuine parts to do it. With their 2016 appointment as the SEABOB Caribbean Sales, Rental and SERVICE CENTER, and the addition of a pressure tester for certified Suunto dive computer battery changes, they will be sure to keep you a happy customer.

NEW for 2016 is Ocean Reef, bringing the original Full Face Snorkel Mask for your guests and for the diver the Full Face Integrated Dive Mask available with Underwater Communications – accessible now to everyone with PADI Specialty training.

The Scuba Shop, with many contacts on the surrounding islands, can organize dive excursions for the crew or co-ordinate your customized dive charters.

To keep you looking good above the water, The Scuba Shop stocks an excellent range of shorts - particularly popular for crew uniforms – along with ladies and men’s shirts, dresses, shoes, hats, bags and sun protection clothing from COLUMBIA SPORTSWEAR and O’NEILL. And not to forget the “protect your lazy ass” SUNBUM suntan lotions.

So much more than a dive shop, The Scuba Shop is well worth a visit!
