While spars and rigging are a specialty, operating from the strategic Catamaran Marina in Falmouth Harbour, Antigua Rigging’s services include full project management / refit / repair service - for yachts of any make and size.

George Clarke has 45 years of marine industry experience including 30 as a yacht Captain. The team Stan and George have built up over the years are experienced, thoughtful guys, who know how to do the job and do it right.

Although completely independent, over the years Antigua Rigging has been a home from home for many major yacht brands including Oyster, Discovery, Swan and several others. While some vessels Antigua Rigging attend are still under warranty, others in later life are in need of major out of season refits. Antigua Rigging take all enquiries in their stride, calling on their network of trusted subcontractors when required, and with the comprehensive range of skills and yard facilities available around Antigua, they can and do provide the widest range of services.

This past season Antigua Rigging received numerous excellent reviews, from both Captains and owners alike, for their committed and professional approach. Recent seasons have seen a dramatic increase in the number of yachts under the care of Antigua Rigging. This is especially true with regards to the summer storage season.

Stan and team of 6 riggers respond quickly and professionally to every enquiry, large or small. The key to Antigua Rigging’s reputation is experience and given that every yacht they attend will have crossed at least one ocean these guys know what to look for, how to do the job and do it right.

Their association with FKG in St.Maarten allows bulk buying and competitive pricing across the widest range of fittings, rope, wire and rod of every type. Maintaining up-to-date contact with key suppliers in the industry Antigua Rigging routinely combine time served rigging skills with the latest technology driven standing and running rigging materials, usually drawn from stock. Suppliers include Navtec, OYS, Future Fibres, Reckmann, Harken, Furlex, Hood, Profurl, Rondal, Gleistein, Lewmar, Harken, Antal, Forespar, Rondal, Selden, Ronstan, Selden, Spinlock, Sparcraft and Tylaska.

Antigua Rigging routinely work on rigs from Hall, Southern, Selden, Formula, Sparcraft, Z-Spars and others in both alloy and composite. Their facilities include cold heading for rod up to -60, Nicropress capability to half an inch (13mm) diameter, wire swaging to five eighths of an inch (16mm) diameter. Services include rig tuning, surveys, condition reports and advice on the specification of standing and running rigging for vessels of any size for their Captains, owners and insurers.
