Driftwood Ltd was founded in 2010 by Steffen Meyerer and operates from their large workshop premises located at the Clarkes Court Boatyard & Marina.

Steffen’s experience in fine yacht carpentry spliced with the shipwright skills of Judd Tinius make up a combined total of 40-plus years of professional experience.

Driftwood have also expanded their services over the last couple of years to encompass a broad spectrum of repairs that can be done ‘in house’ and also project management. They are also warranty agents for the Balance 526 Nexus Yacht Company, St Francis, Kinetic and NAIS 500 AIS systems.

Steffen and Judd are backed by a dedicated team of tradesmen who, with their varied skill-set, offer a wide range of services to yacht owners and crew. The team’s cumulative technical know-how is the key element which enables them to provide their services with comprehensive support that is hard to beat. The carpentry department offers Teak decking repair and replacements, veneering and varnishing, restoration and cabinetry, full interior and exterior refits and finishing, table fabrication, & much more. 

This includes a knowledgeable and experienced composite team who are ready to meet all fabrication, fiberglass and gelcoat needs including blister repair, collision repairs, deck core replacement, cracked bulkhead repairs and fabrication of custom parts in composite materials.

They have a well-deserved reputation as providers of excellent craftsmanship and reliable service, resulting in Driftwood being one of the preferred and referred marine carpentry and composite fabricating establishments in Grenada. 

Driftwood are also the local Certified Copper Coat Applicator agents and offer both Copper coat application as well as application of other anti-fouling systems. They also provide painting (both hand and spray), topside polishing and various warranty works.
