About Germany

Germany is an understated country when it comes to what is on offer; from fairytale style castles to humming city centers and just stunning forests and countryside.  It also has a very strong cultural and community culture which may just surprise you. 

Infamous yards such as Lurssen, with bases around Germany and Blohm & Voss situated in Hamburg are indicative of what this country has to offer.  What is more, Hamburg is an awesome city to visit offering all you would expect of a major city. 

The Kiel canal links the North Sea with the Baltic, allowing for a maximum LOA of 235m, 7m draft and an air draft of 45m... not for everyone but it can definitely save time!   There is not a lot of information around, regards cruising this country so please, send us your recommendations...thank you!
