A new Cruising Permit regulation has come into operation for the UAE as of August 2018.
This is for Visiting Foreign Yachts, certainly a small step in the right direction…
“Foreign Yachts visiting the UAE have the right to cruise between Ports / Marinas in UAE waters for 6 months, provided they obtain a “Cruising Permit” from FTA upon meeting certain requirements & appointing a Shipping Agent."
