Welcome back to The Bahamas...

Caroline Blatter

… private jets and yachts can now return!

During these strange and economically challenging times The Bahamas have sorely missed yachts and second home owners both in New Providence and throughout the Islands.

Hotels, resorts and downtown Nassau have been eerily quiet  and the marinas completely deserted.

However, good news is on the horizon, the government has announced that from the 1st of July all airports will reopen, as well as marinas, hotels and resorts throughout these beautiful islands, with a strict COVID protocol in place, to ensure the continued health and well being of all residents and visitors.

For the latest up to date information, visit the Islands of the Bahamas Tourism link.

Despite the lack of yachts and tourist activity since the Covid-19 lockdown in March, Joei Aranha from Island Purveyors has managed to keep servicing local chefs and community at large.

Well stocked with gourmet goodies, and regularly requested specialty foods,  they are ready and waiting to fulfill yacht orders.  Prime meat, poultry, fish and seafood together with a vast array of cured meats, cheeses, oils, spices and other condiments, all speedily delivered to your location.

Island Purveyors and their new, soon to be opened, Chef’s Pantry look forward to seeing and serving yachts again and offering many exciting new additions to their range.

Check them out at their new store or visit their website or order online !
