Cartagena Sailing Week 2025 at Club De Pesca Marina is set to be an unforgettable event, attracting top sailors, competitive racing, and a vibrant social scene. Hosted at Cartagena’s premier marina, this highly anticipated regatta continues to grow in prestige, drawing an international fleet to the historic waters of Cartagena de Indias.

With ideal sailing conditions, world-class facilities, and a dynamic line-up of events, this year’s edition promises thrilling competition for participants and spectators alike. This year’s event, taking place from April 11th – 20th 2025, will once again welcome top competitors from across the Americas for world-class racing and coaching.

Club De Pesca Marina: Premier Superyacht Destination

Club De Pesca Marina offers 180+ berths, accommodating yachts up to 160’ LOA with 14.5’ draft on modern floating finger docks. Located near Cartagena’s historic walled city, this premier marina has welcomed yachts from around the world for over 80 years.

As Cartagena’s only marina with 440V power, Club De Pesca provides top-tier services, 24/7 security, onsite customs & immigration, a fuel dock, and a dinghy dock for anchored vessels. Cartagena Sailing Week 

Cartagena Sailing Week 2025, scheduled for April 11th–20th, is set to be an exciting event hosted by Club de Pesca Marina. This regatta will feature a variety of activities designed to challenge participants and engage spectators.

  • High-Performance Clinic: A three-day intensive training session led by expert coaches, focusing on refining tactical and technical sailing skills.
  • Rest Day: An opportunity for sailors to explore Cartagena's rich maritime culture and historic charm.
  • Competitive Racing: Three days of intense racing, where sailors will test their speed, skill, and strategy on Cartagena Bay's world-class waters.

This year's event boasts an impressive line-up, including internationally acclaimed Race Officer Ian McClelland and distinguished international juries from Peru and Uruguay. With competitors already confirmed from Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, Ecuador, and Peru, Cartagena Sailing Week 2025 promises thrilling competition and top-tier sailing action.

ILCA sailors receive expert coaching from Samuel Hormiga during Cartagena Sailing Week 2024. With over nine years of experience in sports and recreation, he currently coaches at Liga de Vela de Santander. 

Participants, including sailors, coaches, and officials, will be accommodated at Colombia's Naval Academy. Club de Pesca Marina will serve as the central hub for pre and post-race activities, fostering camaraderie and community among attendees.
