RORC Transatlantic Race - Sunday 12th January

The 11th edition of the RORC Transatlantic Race started on Sunday 12th January 2025 from Marina Lanzarote, Canary Islands and will finish at Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina in Grenada, Caribbean.

The RORC Transatlantic Race forms part of the Royal Ocean Racing Club's Season Points Championships, the world's largest offshore racing series, which for 2025 includes the Rolex Middle Sea Race, the RORC Caribbean 600 and the Rolex Fastnet Race.

Grenada Sailing Festival - 26th - 31st January 

An exciting 6-day event for 2025. Race Day 1 – Around Carriacou. Race Day 2 – Offshore from Carriacou to Grenada. On the official Lay Day, the Light Keel Boat class will race. Race Day 3 and Race Day 4 all classes will race around the cans on the South Coast of Grenada. Seasoned sailor, professional or first timers, everyone’s welcome.

New Zealand Millennium Cup - 1st - 4th February 

The most southerly Superyacht regatta in existence, the New Zealand Millennium Cup is a celebration of good racing, great cruising grounds and exceptional hospitality, returning to Auckland waters from 1st - 4th February 2025!

SailGP - Sydney 8th-9th February

SailGP is a global adrenaline fuelled sailing competition featuring high-speed F50 catamarans, where 12 rival national teams race at record-breaking speeds in 14 iconic venues around the world, during this year ahead, with the 2025 Season Grand Final on 29th-30th November in Abu Dhabi.

RORC Caribbean 600 - Monday 24th February 

The 16th edition of the RORC Caribbean 600 will start on Monday 24th February 2025, just off English Harbour in Antigua. This classic offshore Royal Ocean Racing Club's non-stop 600nm race goes around 11 Caribbean islands, featuring a highly competitive and varied fleet, finishing back in Antigua.

Superyacht Challenge Antigua - 5th- 9th March 

The Superyacht Challenge Antigua is an exclusive annual regatta held along the scenic coast off Falmouth and English Harbours. The event invites superyachts for four days of exciting racing and friendly camaraderie at dockside events, all set against the backdrop of the Caribbean’s vibrant blue waters...with four days of exciting racing and friendly camaraderie at dockside events.

St. Maarten Heineken Regatta - 6th – 9th March 

The world renowned St. Maarten Heineken Regatta will celebrate its 45th edition in 2025 from MARCH 6th-9th.
It is the largest regatta in the Caribbean, with four days of World Class Racing and wonderfully entertaining nights keeping with the event’s motto of “Serious Fun”!

St. Barths Bucket Regatta - 13th – 16th March 

The St. Barth’s Bucket, an invitational race open to sailing yachts over 100ft, is one of the most popular events on the Superyacht Calendar – stylish, friendly and competitive!
The three days of racing bring together ‘la crème de la crème’ of worldwide yachting professionals and the yachting community. St. Barth’s plays host to some of the largest and most amazing sailing yachts during the  three days of exciting racing, as well as the infamous Bucket parties ashore each evening! 

BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival - 31st March – 6th April 

The BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival features the Round Tortola Race and the Scrub Island Invitational, as well as thrilling races and lively parties. The Spring Regatta follows with three days of world-class racing in the Caribbean. This event is hosted annually by Nanny Cay Marina.

Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta - 16th – 21st April 

The 2025 Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta is Celebrating its 36th anniversary and is one of the most widely enjoyed Classic Yacht events worldwide.
The magical combination of serious racing, laid-back Antiguan hospitality, sunshine and great camaraderie on the docks, in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, places the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta in a class of its own.

Antigua Sailing Week - 26th April – 2nd May 

As Antigua’s largest sailing event, the 57th Sailing week in 2025 promises to be exciting, where the focus is most certainly to cross the line first and have fun! This year there is the addition of a new Cruising Rally to add a return to the simplicity of point to point sailing, with relaxed beach celebrations at the finish each day!
For those participating in Race Week, there are five race days with varied courses, and the Wednesday Lay Day on Pigeon. There are a growing number of race charter options available, with charter companies offering training days, and often live aboard accommodation too!

Georgio Armani Superyacht Regatta - 27th- 31st May

This prestigious Superyacht Regatta starts the Superyacht Med season – with superb competitive racing over 4 days in the emerald waters off the coast of Sardinia for yachts of 80ft LOA and above, and fabulous evening events at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo.

The Superyacht Cup Palma - 25th – 28th June 

The Superyacht Cup held each June in Palma, is the longest running Superyacht Regatta in Europe, attracting ia diverse number of superyachts and crew from all over the world, from performance racing superyachts to family cruising and classic yachts.
The event comprises of three days racing in the Bay of Palma, and fun social events each afternoon/ evening, with a special owners dinner one night in a stunning Hotel Resort in Mallorca. 

Aegean 600 - 6th July

A 6-day itinerary, crossing over 600miles and passing through 13 iconic Greek Islands. The Aegean 600 is a race designed by sailors, for sailors.

Copa del Rey MAPFRE - 26th July – 2nd August 

A highlight of the year, this 43rd Copa del Rey MAPFRE is one of the most prestigious European regattas, based at the Real Club Nautico in Palma, with up to 45 boats from 14 countries competing in the three BMW ORC classes. 

The 2025 Centenary Edition - The Rolex Fastnet Race - 26th July 

The Rolex Fastnet Race which the Royal Ocean Racing Club was founded in 1925 has grown to become the world's largest offshore race. The 100th anniversary edition this year will set sail from Cowes on 26 July and finish, for a third time, in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, France; a course of 695 miles.
Entries this year span maxi yachts to former VO70s and VO65s of the Ocean Race, to leading grand prix 40 and 50 footers, to more casual weekend racers and family teams, plus others from sailing schools.The fastest offshore race boats on the planet are also expected to return in the Ultim 32/23, the 32m long ‘flying’ trimarans. 

Cowes Week - 2nd – 8th August 

Cowes week, held every year on the Isle of Wight, is the world’s longest running sailing regatta! This regatta attracts between 800 to 1000 boats in up to 40 different classes racing every day for 8 days. There is a complete mixture of classic and ultra-modern designs that gives the regatta its uniqueness. 

Safe Harbor Race Weekend - 8th – 10th August 

The annual Safe Harbor Race Weekend in mid-August features the only superyacht racing in the U.S., set against the backdrop of downtown Newport. Monohull and multihull vessels (30 feet or greater LOA) are invited for three days of thrilling races and lively shoreside events across Newport, Portsmouth, and Jamestown, Rhode Island.

Vela Clasica Menorca - Copa del Rey - 26th – 30th August 

Since 2005, the Copa del Rey - Vela Clasica Menorca has been another highlight for the Mediterranean Classic Yacht Regatta Calendar. Held each August in the picturesque Mahón Harbour, this event draws sailing enthusiasts to celebrate the timeless beauty of these historic vessels.

Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup - 4th – 10th September

Staged off Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda - the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup takes place in the first weeks of September and is the third of five events in the IMA's Mediterranean Maxi Inshore Challenge. The highly skilled professional crews of the Maxi Yacht Rolex Fleet comprise of a who's who of sailing! 

Ibiza JoySail - 18th – 21st September 

From 18 to 21 September 2025, the must-visit Marina Ibiza on the world-famous White Island will play host to participants for four days of thrilling races and amazing social events.

Les Voiles de Saint Tropez - 27th September – 5th October  

Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez is celebrating its 26th edition this year, a leading sailing regatta with around 250 yachts taking part in three classes : from classic over 100 year old yachts to racing maxi's, and modern cruisers. The most beautiful yachts in the world come together in a sumptuous setting and friendly atmosphere, creating the magic that is Les Volies de Saint Tropez, an event not to be missed!

Rolex Middle Sea Race - 18th October

The Rolex Middle Sea Race attracts an impressive fleet of well over 100 yachts, racing the 606 nautical miles course anti-clockwise, starting from Grand Harbour, Valletta, Malta. It is often an exceptional, diverse and highly competitive fleet, often challenged by different weather conditions and sea states over the 600+ mile course. 

Phuket King’s Cup Regatta - 30th November – 6th December (tentative dates) 

The Phuket King's Cup Regatta is Asia's biggest and most famous regatta. Inaugurated in 1987, eight days of racing attract major international competitors, becoming a big boat event, attracting keelboats and ocean-going catamaran teams from around the world. The regatta annually features upwards of 90 boats (record of 103 in 2007) and 2,000 sailors, ranging from the Formula One of the sea lanes, the Racing Class, to live-aboard ocean cruisers, multihulls and classics.
