After completion in 1902, ‘Whitehall’ - the name given to Henry Flagler’s ‘Gilded Age Estate’ in Palm Beach - was heralded as being “more wonderful than any place in Europe”. Today it is open to the public as a testament to the might of this ‘turn of the century’ industrialist who pioneered the development of South Florida.
