Overview

Coupled with the lightship museum, an exceptional collection of over 250 years of naval history.  Founded as the Gosport Museum back in 1767 it continues to attract interest as the builder of many famous military vessels from the first ironclads, to the still in use ‘first ever dry dock in the USA’. With varied programs and exhibits all year round, it makes for an enjoyable day out for any visiting guest or crewmember alike. Located at 2 High St, Portsmouth (right on the waterfront).
