Harrison's Cave

Located in the centre of Barbados, near the southern end of Welchman Hall Gully, Harrison's Cave is a great attraction for guests and crew alike. There are a choice of tours including a tram tour which takes you approx. 150 feet underground into a well-developed ‘living cave’, where thousands of stalactites and stalagmites are still forming, and waterfalls and underwater rivers continue to carve through the subterranean grotto. The caverns are nicely illuminated, very well presented, and there is a short informative film at the beginning of the tour about the coral island's rather unique geological history. Open daily from 0845 - 1545hrs. Pre-bookings are necessary for all tours.
