Originally built in 1814 as a strategic base for Atlantic expeditions, the historic Royal Naval Dockyard is now the most visited tourist site in Bermuda, and the ideal destination for maritime activities. Pier 41 Dockshop is open daily for all your needs, offering hot food, cold beer, drinks, liquor, ice, snacks, sundries, marine items, Wi-Fi and more, or visit the Watersports Centre for world class diving and fishing opportunities as well as boat rentals, sightseeing and snorkel trips. Some of the greatest holes in golf are 20 minutes away by bus or taxi, and the City of Hamilton is only 20 minutes by fast ferry. Their friendly and knowledgeable resident dock master William is on call to assist you with any information you may need and is very knowledgable about the history of the Island and it’s founding fathers.
