Shelter Bay Marina

Located at the western Caribbean entrance to the Panama Canal, Shelter Bay Marina is a very well protected, “Full service”, marina with slips for mega yachts (up to 320’ LOA) and deep draft vessels. – 20’ draft in the channel & 10’ on many slips.
The unspoiled natural ‘Jungle’ setting of this marina is stunning; and the marina’s location is perimetered with controlled access and 24/7 security - ensuring peace of mind for yachting clients to enjoy the local surroundings. 

The opening of the ‘Atlantic’ bridge (over the Panama Canal from Colon) will significantly improve land accessibility to Shelter Bay Marina and, in anticipation of increased interest in the marina as a result, the management have carried out many upgrades to the amenities, buildings and grounds so as to welcome land based visitors as well as marina guests. Most significantly, there is now a manned security gate at the marina entrance.  

Marina facilities include 120/240 & 480 volt power, potable water, pump out service, fuel bunkering, chandlery store and sail loft. Aside from the comfortable Marina Hotel, guest amenities include the highly recommended 'The Dock' Restaurant and Bar, a swimming pool, gym, laundry and a provisioning store. Courtesy transportation is provided to Colon and Panama City.

The adjacent boatyard, serviced by a 100 ton Travelift, offers a full range of technical services.
