The central Auckland shipyard delivers award-winning refit services, an unbeatable blend of facilities and trades, and a location that allows crew direct access to restaurants, crew housing, recreation, plus one of the world’s most-beautiful harbours.

In the region’s longest-running superyacht refit yard, the Orams Marine team has built a maintenance Mecca, complete with recently-upgraded facilities. An 820 tonne travel lift allows large yachts to haul out in the central city, while superyacht buildings give those yachts access to covered work in an enclosed environment.

The 820 tonne lift complements a 600 tonne slipway as well as a number of other marine travel lifts, allowing both the yacht, support vessels and tenders to be hauled out and moved around the yard for an efficient refit period. Experienced project managers are on-hand to assist with refit planning, as well as advice on cruising the region from the time the yacht starts considering a Pacific journey.

There’s also a complete range of marine trades and services onsite. Expert services available within the yard include boat building, engineering, painting, rig servicing, fabrication, electrical and electrical systems, air conditioning and refrigeration, cabinet making, a machine shop and upholstery.

The Orams Marine team keeps a focus on crew. There’s a wide range of services to make a crew’s refit run smoothly, like customs clearance and immigration, purchasing and logistics, storing and warehouse, parts and spares, and bunkering services all provided within Orams Marine.
