North Sails New Zealand have an extensive network of lofts throughout New Zealand, in the Bay of Islands, Auckland, Wellington, Picton, (and an agent in Tauranga) manned by some of the most successful and experienced designers and sailmakers of any sail loft in New Zealand! Through research, development and most importantly, ‘practical experience’ North Sails produce some of the Fastest and most Durable Racing and Cruising sails in the world. 

As one of the world’s leading and largest sail making groups, North Sails have a large pool of resources. While North Sails is known and recognized for superior technology (in laminated sails, computer design, computer cutting, 3D molding of sails…), it is their dedicated sailmakers that have been North’s strongest asset. Their growth over the last 50 years has allowed sailors who love sailing, to make a career making better sails. For that reason, North Sails has attracted some of the most qualified, dedicated sailmakers and designers, to provide their customers with a ‘second to none’ service.

The North Sails worldwide service is highly comprehensive in the business, with qualified sailmakers in all major sailing areas of the globe. NSNZ is a member of the North Europe group and has a close and strong relationship with these lofts, as well as the rest of the North Sails network.
