About Pacific Northwest

The Pacific Northwest is a diverse geographic region that is dominated by a coastline bordered by some of the most rugged and mountainous terrain in the world. This coast stretching almost 1500 miles from Washington State to Alaska has more coastline than the rest of the Continental United States combined, and offers an infinite amount of possibilities for visiting yachts.

While not many would consider this area to be a stronghold of the Spanish Crown, a closer examination of any nautical chart will reveal the names and legacy of some of history's most intrepid 17th century explorers.

Whether it’s the seclusion of a quiet anchorage up one of the many fjords or inlets, or exploring one of the many seaside villages and towns that dot the coast, the Northwest has a rich and colorful maritime heritage.

The cosmopolitan waterfronts of Seattle and Vancouver offer all the amenities of any world class city, but it is further afield that the wildlife and the stoic surround of a landscape carved by glaciers with snowcapped mountains falling into the sea, that one can experience the magic of the Pacific Northwest Coast.
