This main regional hospital for the Galapagos Islands is a modern, functional hospital with 34 beds, medical specialities, diagnostics and emergency care, open 24 hours.

With two helicopter and one aeroplane ambulance, patients can be transferred from outlying islands. Major medical emergencies are taken to mainland Ecuador.
