Superyacht Northwest

Stunning natural beauty, infinite adventures, abundant wildlife and unparalleled superyacht support and services.

53,930 miles of pristine coastline, 6,000 islands, and 500+ protected anchorages connecting the United States and Canada via Washington state, British Columbia and Alaska.

Nestled throughout this vast region are 18 national parks and 3 internationally renowned cities… Seattle, Vancouver B.C and Victoria.

Welcome to the Pacific Northwest, without a doubt one of the most spectacular regions for cruising and superyacht adventures anywhere in the world!

The members of Superyacht Northwest, www.synw.org, are proud to call this region home and they take pride in offering world class service throughout Pacific Northwest.

Begin your Northwest adventure in Seattle and Puget Sound area. You will find salt and freshwater superyacht moorage for vessels up to 350 feet; yacht services, repair, refit, haul out facilities, yacht agent services and provisioning.

Also the home of Westport, Delta, and Nordlund shipyards.

The Puget Sound region and Seattle is rich with maritime history. It is home to North America’s largest fishing fleet and has some of the most-skilled maritime craftsmen and service providers in the world. There are many choices for your trip planning and preparation needs.

Heading north from Puget Sound cruise through the San Juan and Gulf Islands, enjoy the elegant inner harbor of Victoria B.C., visit the truly international city of Vancouver and enjoy their unique offerings in arts and culture, shopping, and dining. Continue north between Vancouver Island and the British Columbia coastline to discover the endless fjords, inlets and straights that are dominant features of the British Columbia coast. Visit destinations like Desolation Sound, where summer water temperatures are consistently 75 – 80 degrees.

Discover First Nations history by visiting SGang Gwaay at the south end of Haida Gwaii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Fish for salmon and halibut, pick fresh oysters off rocky beaches, drop your crab pots, observe abundant wildlife, and Orca whales, fly fish, hike… take it all in, enjoy, it is stunning.

Now continue North.

Most who have cruised Alaska say ‘one trip is never enough.’ The Alaskan coastline extends 6,640 miles, a distance greater than all other U.S. states’ coastlines combined.

Alaska has 33,904 miles of shoreline. Add islands, inlet sounds, and bays and you arrive at 47,300 miles of exploration opportunities.

The wilderness and the beauty calls to you here. Frederick Sound will afford opportunities to see Humpback whales in the summer along with Orcas, sea lions, Dall’s porpoise and harbor seals all surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Coast Range.

On to Endicott Arm to see up close the Dawes Glacier and Fords Terror Wilderness. Rugged mountains, deep valleys and towering waterfalls are the norm, along with bear, deer, mountain goats and eagles.

Just south of Juneau is the 27-mile Tracy Arm Fjord surrounded by 3,000-foot cliffs. The twin Sawyer Glaciers await you at the end of Tracy Arm. The list goes on and on.

The Pacific Northwest is waiting for you and Superyacht Northwest is here to help you along the way. Start your adventure with us by visiting the following pages and look for the SYNW member listing as a first stop for all your superyacht needs.
