Pilotage - Northern Territory

Any vessel or foreign flagged yacht of 50m LOA+ entering into any Queensland Port, requires a port pilot on board to enter harbour limits.

Other States in Australia, vessels over 35m LOA require a Port Pilot to enter port however, advice through vessels port agent should be sought for any special individual port arrangements regarding pilotage.

Vessels over 70m LOA transiting the Great Barrier Reef are required to carry a compulsory Reef Pilot.

Pilotage for both port and reef are booked through the vessels port agent.
