An annual 3000 mile Trans-Atlantic Race from Marina Lanzarote to Port Louis, Grenada.
The 10th edition of the RORC Transatlantic Race will start on Sunday 7th January 2024 from Marina Lanzarote, Canary Islands and finish at Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina in Grenada, Caribbean.
The RORC Transatlantic Race forms part of the Royal Ocean Racing Club's Season Points Championships, the world's largest offshore racing series, which for 2024 includes the RORC Caribbean 600, Roschier Baltic Sea Race, and the Rolex Middle Sea Race.
The monohull record still stands with 100ft Maxi Comanche, who set a new Monohull Race Record in 2022 of 7 days, 22 hours 1 min and 4 seconds, and was the overall winner.
in 2023, multihull line honours went to Giovanni Soldini’s Maserati Multi70 (ITA) setting a new outright race record of 5 days 5 hours 46 mins 26 secs.
