The Punta Culebra Nature Center

The Punta Culebra Nature Center (run by the Smithsonian Institute) lies within walking distance of the marinas & anchorages of the Amador Causeway. Walkways through the trees (with sloths often slumbering on high!), a turtle sanctuary pool and an exhibition of Panamanian frogs make a visit here a welcome respite from the pace of the city.
