About Isola d’Elba

The island of Elba is a 45 minute ferry ride from the mainland port of Piombin, yet offers something different to the mainland. Its known for its pristine beaches and azure clear waters, wild coves only reachable by boat, good diving and snorkeling – excellent windsurfing at Chiessi, vineyards, the colour and sounds of the bustling night street market in Porto Azzurro – the varied terrain, so good for hiking - mountains and plains dominated by Mount Capanne at 1,018 metres.
