About The Baltic Sea

The Baltic Sea, The World’s largest expanse of brackish water, is almost landlocked by Eastern Europe, offering old castles with stories to tell, soaring dunes, endless sandy beaches, magical forests and stunning lakes; it will not disappoint!

With minimal tidal currents and shallow waters, averaging 56m in depth, navigation is relatively stress free.  The temperate continental climate makes weather patterns predictable, with mid-June to end of August offering long summer days and temperatures of over 23 degrees centigrade, sometimes reaching the 30’s.

There is a history of sailing and travel by water in this region, with many small ports primarily for smaller yachts but it is generally possible to find dockage for 50m + yachts.

We have received some excellent recommendations for The Baltic region, covering all your needs or offering honest advice.
