Supermarkets / General Provisioning stores – Vava’u

There is no main supermarket in Vava’u and with over 20 small corner stores it can be a challenge to find all basic provisioning requirements under one roof. The following stores come recommended to us by a Superyacht chef we spoke with this past season.

Luke Guo – Ming Ging Guo  - Vava’u  (see also ‘Car Rental’ section).

Located opposite the police station off the main street has most basic needs from toilet paper to bread, bacon and olive oil! They also have a good choice and prices on wines and spirits. 

Seveneth Heaven

Up the road from the Post office stock many products from the USA.

Snab Store

This shop opposite the ANZ bank on the main street has many New Zealand products & is also a bakery.

LR Store

Opposite the BSP Bank on Main Street carries products from New Zealand and some fair quality meats.
