About Aruba, Bonaire & Curaçao

The ABC islands consist of Aruba, Bonaire & Curacao, and are all located in the Southern Caribbean off the coast of Venezuela. They collectively form an archipelago of islands that are part of the ‘Netherlands Antilles’, with Curacao as the largest island, serving as the ‘seat of governance’ and also playing host to the largest concentration of yachting facilities of the three islands.

Curacao has a very good reputation for its ability to offer resourceful technical services to yachts of all sizes, and with plans underway to extend the berthing facilities at the Curacao Marine Boatyard and Marina, this location is set to become an important ‘below the hurricane zone’ refit, repair and dry storage centre in the Southern Caribbean. Larger yachts can also book in for dry dockage in Parera, also through the recommended contacts at the Curacao Marine Boatyard.

Superyachts can find further good berthing options in locations at Willemstad on the waterfront and Spanish Water at Seru Boca Marina or the Santa Barbara Beach Marina. Large yachts (up to 200ft LOA) in Bonaire can find good berthing at Harbour Village marina and likewise, in Aruba the Windcreek marina can also accommodate superyachts.

The ABC’s ultimately offer a choice of perfect ‘stepping stone’ destinations and safe havens for yachts passaging west, east or even to the north… linking up routes and itineraries for yachts ‘on the move’ to and from the Panama Canal and the Eastern Caribbean.
