Gingerbread Hotel

Located on the waterfront in Port Elizabeth, the delightful architecture and Caribbean finish of the Gingerbread Hotel makes it one the island’s prettiest hotels. Guests can choose from 9 charming suites and apartments on two levels. The ground floor level bedrooms have adjoining salons and open out onto large covered terraces overlooking the bay (just a coconut tree away!). On the upper storey, the bedrooms are furnished with romantic four poster kingsize beds (the downstairs bedrooms have twin beds). There is a third bed built into every suite. Other amenities include fully equipped kitchens, ensuite bathrooms, security safes and daily maid service. There is also a restaurant onsite plus a delightful café serving Espresso & Cappucino coffees, cookies & cakes, ice creams, bread and ice. There is also the very handy, “Vintages Bequia” wines and spirits store onsite and a convenient dinghy dock at the front of the hotel (with private car parking at the back). Finally, the “Dive Bequia” PADI dive centre is located conveniently next door – The Ginger Bread Hotel really does make a great choice for a crew break ashore.
