Maria’s Café is one of the popular meeting places for yachties in Bequia. In a cool and breezy first floor terrace verandah setting, Maria’s Café serves bar and restaurant food and opens every day of the week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Free Wi-Fi is available to all patrons, and a flat screen TV is on hand to watch sports and cable channels whilst relaxing on the comfortable lounge seating.
The owner of Maria’s Café, Andrew Mitchell, is always on hand to offer any further services and assistance that yachting visitors might need – including local knowledge, Villa rentals, laundry services and block or cubed ice for sale. Maria’s Café is a very convenient ‘hub’ and something of an unofficial ‘Yacht Club’ for Bequia (the Bequia Youth Sailors program also runs out of Maria’s Café.
Bequia Youth Sailors Club
Maria’s Café is the headquarters of Bequia’s Youth Sailors program – run and sponsored by owner Andrew Mitchell. Small fleet of Optimists and local racing boats. Sponsorship or assistance always welcomed.
