Island Marine Inc. is a well-established refit and Master Yacht Repair boatyard facility, based within the Puerto del Rey Marina & Boatyard complex. This business has been operating in Puerto Rico for the past 34 years – with the capacity (through the Puerto del Rey Marina travel lifts) to haul boats up to 165 tons with maximum beam of 32 ft. and maximum LOA of 125 ft. Island Marine is a favourite with many professional yacht captains who have hauled out there and undergone a wide range of refit works – including complete repaints, and a variety of mechanical and technical projects. Business owners Ken Towne and Richard Carolus, along with their team of staff, work very closely with captains and crew in order to look after each yacht's individual needs. 

Island Marine specialises in custom Awlgrip paint applications, mechanical / electrical works, GRP / gelcoat repairs, custom fibreglass modifications, carbon fibre repairs, interior design / decorating, certified welding works and complete yacht refits.

Island Marine will also set up a 'cooling tower' in the workshop, so onboard air-conditioning can still be run whilst the boat is on the hard.
