Marina Casa de Campo

This well appointed and dedicated Superyacht marina is located just 7km away from the La Romana International Airport, and is part of the huge 7,000 acre 'Casa de Campo' Resort that has an amazing array of facilities including three 18 hole public golf courses, 2 heliports, luxury villas for sale or rent and a five star hotel.

The Marina has good access from the sea, and offers 15' of draft for vessels of up to 250' LOA with three alternative mooring systems for vessels of different sizes. 30 / 50 / 100 / 200 amp 60 Hz power is available at 120 / 240 / 480 volts, along with water, Cable TV, and wireless internet. The standard of facilities in and around the Marina complex are excellent.

Customs and immigration facilities are available onsite 24hrs and as an official ‘Port of Entry’ to the Dominican Republic, information on clearance procedures and fees are available via the marina’s website.

Weather forecasting is printed daily at the port offices and a special weather service is also available on request for departing vessels.

All docks are equipped with fire extinguishers, emergency response kits, and surveillance cameras (to assist their 24hr security personnel).

They have two fuel stations at the marina and they have the ability to deliver high quality diesel directly from their "K" dock. A fire station and ambulance service are also stationed in the area.

The excellent shoreside facilities at the marina include banks, a good supermarket with gourmet provisioning, a range of international restaurants, various café bars, 3 screen cinema complex, yacht concierge services, cigar shop, designer boutiques, jewellery stores and a pharmacy.

Beyond this, the surrounding resort attractions at the expansive Casa De Campo estate include 3 championship golf courses designed by World Golf Hall of Fame member Pete Dye, including the famous Teeth of the Dog ranked no.46 in the world and No.1 in The Caribbean, three polo fields, 12 tennis Har-Tru courts, a shooting centre (trap, skeet and hunting simulations), a ‘private beach’ with restaurant and horse riding facilities.

Also, perched high up above the Chavon River (about 10 minutes drive from the Marina), is the charming development ‘Altos de Chavon’ is a 16th century replica of a Mediterranean village, with an archaeological museum, quaint shops, exclusive boutiques, art gallery and a dramatic amphitheatre which plays host to live music concerts.

Situated throughout the Casa de Campo resort estate are a variety of high-end restaurants, each with their own flavour and charm – whether it be a dramatic open air cliff-top setting perched 300 ft. above the Chavon River valley, a strategic lunchtime retreat next to the golf course, or an atmospheric evening setting alongside the marina and boats at the Portofino Plaza. 

Fishing Season

Bill fishing in the waters off the Dominican Republic is currently renowned and world famous for its prolific tag and release catches. Marina Casa de Campo is located right in the heart of these privileged fishing grounds.

The fishing season runs from February until June with the peak of the season being March, April and May.
In the last three years, fishing fleets have experienced the most exciting time of their lives... and with more than 641 Blue Marlin released last season in 110 days of fishing, the billfishing here is currently of epic proportions. Other species caught in the area are: White Marlin, Swordfish, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo and Tuna.

Golf

Casa de Campo resort is generally accepted to be the golfing capital of the Dominican Republic, boasting three renowned public courses by Pete Dye.
