El Yunque National Park

This virtual 'drive in' rainforest park offers visitors a wide choice of itineraries, hikes and leisure activities. Located close to Puerto Del Rey Marina. There is an orientation and information 'rain forest centre' named El Portal, situated on the edge of the rainforest territory; and here one can plan the day's events. Even the most physically inactive of visitors can view the sites, and for the more adventurous, there are challenging and demanding hiking trails deep into the hills that offer spectacular scenic panoramas of Puerto Rico. El Yunque is situated near to Fajardo and Marina Puerto Del Rey – take the turn off to Palmer and follow the signs to El Yunque.
