Le Sentier du Littoral

The coastal footpath from St-Tropez harbour to Tahiti beach.

If you have around 2-4 hours, try this walk / hike (probably the best in the St-Tropez area). It runs mainly along the shore. Leaving from St-Tropez harbour, head towards La Tour du Portalet on the NE side of the harbour, passing the Tour Vielle and the old fishing harbour. After passing the cemetery and Graniers Beach, join the footpath towards Canebiers Bay. This part is under 3kms. After Canebiers Bay, take the Estagnet path, which takes you inland, then you need to pass over the rocks at La Moutte before reaching Salins Beach. This section is around 6 kms. If you wish to keep going, follow the track that leads up the cliff starting after Salins Beach at Pointe Capon. There is an additional 3.5 kms to reach Tahiti Beach. You can have a faster return to St-Tropez along the Route de Tahiti.
