A trip to Boston Bay on the Portland Coast for a dip in the sea or some surfing (see ‘Surfing / Kiteboarding / Windsurfing / Watersports’ section) came recommended in addition to sampling some of the famous Jamaican Jerk Pork and Chicken delicacies… as Boston village is said to be the birthplace of ‘Jerk’ cooking. As a result, smoke appears to emanate from just about all of the buildings… though the locals are very friendly and the Jamaican Red Stripe beer is always very cold – thus making it a perfect BBQ ‘pit stop’, whilst touring the Portland area.
