Canyoning and Hiking

The fast flowing rivers and waterfalls in the mountainous interior of Basseterre provide the perfect arena for some seriously extreme canyoning! Les Chutes du Carbet – the most spectacular waterfalls in Guadeloupe - can be most easily accessed from Basseterre, so too can the start of the Soufriere Volcano trail. Last season saw many yachts choosing this option, dropping their guests ashore to visit the stunning mountain rainforest.
