This recommended company goes out of their way to accommodate guests -  call in advance to book a personal guide for the last trip up the mountain (about 1700hrs). Climb to the top to watch the sunset, and see the volcano spitting fire, and then return to the town at about 2300hrs. You can rent good quality equipment from the shop in town if you don’t have what you need. They also offer excursions to Mt Etna.
