Sol y Nieve in the Sierra Nevadas

Captains and yacht Crew have recommended the skiing in the Sierra Nevada as being easily accessible by road from Cartagena. Sierra Nevada is one of Spain’s highest resorts, situated at 2100m and rising to 3300m. It boasts abundant sunshine because of its southerly location and surprisingly good snow conditions. Open November through to May, depending on snow.  Serviced by 21 lifts, the 131 piste are above the tree line with fantastic views down to the Mediterranean.
