Old Havana

Old Havana (La Habana Vieja) contains hundreds of well-preserved examples of 17th century Spanish colonial architecture. Representing one of the most vibrant cities in the Caribbean, Havana retains its mystique today, especially in the colonial old town, which harbours an enduringly magical enclave of music, restaurants and bars (which serve Cuba’s famous Mojito and Daiquiri drinks). Visitors can either walk the streets in the footsteps of famous characters such as Hemingway, Churchill or Sinatra - or take a tour in a choice of transportation from 1950’s restored taxi cars, yellow three wheeler buggies or horse-drawn traps!
