Carriacou Museum

The Carriacou Museum is well worth a visit. Whilst being relatively small, it is still very interesting and easily accessible. Linky Taxi can take you there while on an island tour (see ‘Taxis’ section).

The museum has exhibits which trace early French and British occupations of the island, a collection of old maps of the island and even has Carriacou’s first ever telephone on display! There is an African section and an Art section and there are interesting pre-Columbian artefacts dating back to the original Amerindian occupation of Carriacou.
