Bonnet House Museum & Gardens

Purchased by Hugh Taylor Birch in 1895, the grounds of Bonnet House had already reveled artifacts dating back to some 2000 B.C. Nowadays the house museum and gardens are listed as one of America’s 11 most endangered sites. It can be rented for events, weddings and social gatherings and is a great day out when the beach is too crowded or a little cultural diversity is required. Located on the beach just south of Sunrise Blvd – at 900 North Birch Rd - it is an easy walk from the city’s main marinas.
